RE: I have a disgusting problem… HELP!!!

I would dump one at a time spread out over a couple months into the septic. Get a fitting that fits the larger opening and connect pipe or hose with a valve to control the flow, and reduce chances of making a mess and a connection on the small opening for a hose to add fresh water to flush out the drum. Maybe even adapt the outlet to a macerator.

RE: Black Tank only holds 1/2 to 1/3 of capacity

Typically there are three sensors on the holding tanks. They are typically spaced at 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 of the height/depth of the tank. Monitor panels are typically labeled 1/3, 2/3, and full. With this setup when the monitor panel shows full the tank is actually 3/4 full. Or leaving 1/4 of the capacity remaining.

RE: Unsolicited want to buy your RV people

I haven't had it happen, but it happened to my parents fairly frequently in the 80's. At the time my dad worked in the service department of an RV dealer. In talking to the salesman where he worked he found out that sales people from certain dealers would drive around asking people if the wanted to sell.

RE: Microwave removal discovery 40X

I removed one from a previous trailer. It had an angled piece on the top and bottom that was screwed to the face of the cabinet. Sounds like yours is different.

RE: Water heater replacement ?

I swapped the other way, tankless to tank. You can check the manufacturer to see if they have an installation kit to fit the opening. Or you can try to coble something together but that would likely be a challenge to make it look good. Unless you always stay at sites with full hook ups I would keep the tank.

RE: What are all of these battery connections on my 17k

Be careful just disconnecting wires some solar charge controllers can be ruined if disconnected from the battery when the panels are producing electricity. It is best to disconnect the panels from the charge controller first.

RE: Engine tune ups

For those old enough to remember the Chevy Monza. To change the driver side plugs on the V8 model It was recommended to remove the motor mount bolt on that side and jack up the engine for access.

RE: Propane tanks too heavy

On the ground they would be a little easier to steal.

RE: Water heater replacement

I have done it. First make sure you have enough room for the tank. Mine had an Atwood tankless. I swapped it for an Atwood tank. The tankless was almost as deep as a tank, plus my trailer was built when tankless was pretty new and could have been ordered with either. Mine already had two switches in the control panel to turn on both gas and 120v heating sources. I did have to add a breaker and run romex to the tank heater to power the 120v element. Also check the size of the cut out in the wall to make sure the replacement will fit.

RE: Better/brighter interior bulbs?

I installed two of these above the table in my toy hauler.

RE: How critical is it to have a perfectly level trailer?

Moving the battery to the rear was mentioned. If you do this it needs to be connected to the electrical system so that the brake a way can function in case the trailer separates from the yow vehicle.
